'Money Talks' (BBC2; Edinburgh, London and other festivals; 16mm.) 
dir. Alrick Riley. A story with no dialogue, shot on location in Brixton using the long, developing takes that characterise his later work on 'Cops' and 'Babyfather'.

 

'The Weatherhouse' (BBC2; festivals; 16mm.)
This short combines model animation and studio live action with the collaboration of the infamous physical theatre company IOU.
Directed by Joanna Woodward.

 



'Brigit and the Drowning Man' (Edinburgh, London, Cork and other festivals; 16mm.)
Shot on location in London and the flat, watery badlands of East Anglia. Dir.Mina Courtauld.
